PayAppCheck

Refund Policy

Last updated: July 27, 2026

1. Overview

PayAppCheck is operated by Ludvig Bergerud, a sole trader (enskild firma) registered in Sweden, at Lilla Bergaliden 1, 252 23 Helsingborg, Sweden. PayAppCheck is a digital subscription software service. This Refund Policy explains when refunds are available. Because Paddle.com acts as our reseller and Merchant of Record, all payments, invoices, and refunds are processed by Paddle. This policy applies in addition to, and does not limit, any mandatory rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.

2. General rule for digital subscriptions

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once your subscription has been activated and you have begun using the Service, except where a refund is required by applicable law or is granted at our or Paddle's discretion. We do not provide refunds or credits for partially used or unused portions of a subscription period after a renewal, except as required by law.

3. 30-day satisfaction guarantee (discretionary)

As a goodwill practice, if you are not satisfied with the Service, you may request a refund within thirty (30) days of your initial purchase by contacting us. Refunds under this guarantee are reviewed in good faith and are not available where refund abuse or fraud is evident (see Section 6).

4. EU/EEA/UK consumers: 14-day right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer resident in the EU, EEA, or UK, you normally have a period of 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract, without giving any reason (EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 9(1)).
However, because the Service is digital content / a digital service supplied online and made available immediately, by subscribing and requesting immediate access you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once performance (your use of the Service) has begun (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m)). Where you have not yet begun using the Service, you may still exercise your 14-day withdrawal right. Where you have begun using a digital service during the withdrawal period, you may be charged an amount proportionate to the use made before withdrawal. This does not affect your statutory rights if the Service is faulty or not as described.

5. How to request a refund

All refunds are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. To request a refund:
(a)
use the refund/billing link in the Paddle order receipt emailed to you, or the order-lookup form on the Paddle buyer-support site at paddle.net; or
(b)
contact us at [email protected] and we will assist you with the request to Paddle.
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method. Processing times depend on Paddle and your bank.

6. Fraud and refund abuse

Refunds will not be granted where we or Paddle reasonably determine that fraud, chargeback abuse, or refund abuse is occurring (for example, repeated buy-and-refund cycles or use of the Service inconsistent with a genuine evaluation).

7. Faulty or not-as-described service

Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes or limits your statutory rights as a consumer, including any right to a remedy where the Service is faulty, defective, or not as described under applicable law.
